Emily and Ray are building a beautiful life together and had a special wedding day to celebrate their official union in the stunning Minnekhada Regional Park in autumn.
Their “less is more” vision certainly spoke to WasteKnot’s low-waste approach- wanting to let the beautiful nature outdoors and the charming venue indoors shine. Nestled in the woods, the Minnekhada Lodge is an intimate venue that feels like home, suitable for a 50-person seated reception. Minimal decor is needed, since the house has a special feel with low-lighting fixtures, vintage furniture, and other tables and chairs included.
There are a few outdoor ceremony location options and we were lucky to have good weather for the lawn for Emily and Ray’s ceremony. The beautiful flowers truly stood out from Angelica Floral Design– who provided a special arch arrangement, bouquets, boutonnieres, and wrist corsages. We repurposed the arch to the patio afterwards, and repurposed the ceremony chair sashes as table runners inside the head table.
DSK Photography Design captured the day wonderfully. Take a look at some moments from their day below.
