When Soulmate clients turn to Friends
Okay…I am going to be so emotional with this one, especially because these two lovebirds truly became my friends while planning their wedding. They hired me after they got engaged ON THE BASE CAMP OF MT EVERETT IN NEPAL- EPIC! We took time to choose the perfect venue that would capture the essence of beautiful BC and feel like a whole weekend getaway, not just one night of fun.
But why do I call them my “soulmate” clients? First, they are eco-superheros living an earth-friendly lifestyle and working in sustainability to make our world a better place. Hell yeah. Second, they respect and TRUST the planning process and professional opinions of their wedding planner (moi) so that I could best prepare their special wedding weekend and therefore facilitate it well. Third, they are hikers, adventurers, and have two adorable cats, hence they are awesome people. I mean, check out the photos in their gallery below to see the Specialty Cocktails named after their furbabies!
They chose the gorgeous venue of The Lodge on Harrison Lake, a picturesque lakeside retreat nestled in the mountains of Harrison, BC. With nature as the perfect background, decor inspiration was taken from the blue and green colours of BC plus an accent of sunset colours. They used hand-picked rocks as place cards, dark green ferns as table runners, dried florals, and customized touches all around!
